Former PM Bennett Calls for Israel to Take Action Against Iran

Bennett: 'Everything Should Be on the Table' in Response to Iran's Threats

Naftali Bennett emphIn an interview with Sky News on Thursday, former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett called for Israel to take decisive action to dismantle the Iranian regime and prevent it from acquiring nuclear weapons. Bennett emphasized that while he distinguishes between the Iranian people and their government, "everything should be on the table" when it comes to Israel's actions.

Bennett acknowledged that Israel may not have the capacity to fully overthrow the regime, but he stressed that Israel could certainly strike and inflict significant damage. Referring to the recent missile attacks on Israel, Bennett highlighted the unprecedented scale of threats faced by the nation.

"The Islamic Republic of Iran is not a regular regime; it's a regime of terror," Bennett said. "We should not take anything off the table, including targeting their leader."

He advised the Israeli cabinet to consider strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities and increase missile responses, warning that Iran is at its most advanced stage in nuclear development in history.asized the need for a strong stance against Iran, stating, "The Islamic Republic of Iran is not a regular regime; it's a regime of terror. We should not take anything off the table, including targeting their leader.

"They have enough uranium for 10 nuclear bombs. Israel should not hesitate to strike back," he insisted.

When confronted with the idea that Israel should respond proportionally to Iranian attacks, Bennett dismissed the notion. He argued that a proportional response would lead to actions that Israel would never condone.

Bennett stressed the importance of focusing on dismantling Iran's nuclear program and targeting its regime.

In addressing the war in Gaza and the international scrutiny surrounding Israel's actions, Bennett placed the blame for civilian casualties squarely on Hamas.

"They don’t care about their own people and have repeatedly used civilians as human shields," he stated. "Hamas is the murderer, not Israel. Israel is fighting a war on behalf of the world against the most fanatical jihadist ideology on Earth. We are fighting Iran on behalf of the world. If Iran acquires a nuclear weapon, Europe will be under threat. The world should be praising Israel, not criticizing it."

Bennett highlighted the recent violence, recalling that on October 7, Israel was attacked by Hamas, resulting in the deaths of over 1,200 innocent people and the kidnapping of 250 others, including women and children. He noted Hezbollah's support for Hamas, urging the international community to recognize the broader implications of this alliance. "The world should be asking why they’re doing this, not criticizing Israel. If we let them get away with it, they’ll do the same in the UK, New York, and Paris. Israel is fighting your war," he declared.

When asked how Israel should respond to Iranian missile attacks, Bennett reiterated that Israel should target Iran's nuclear facilities and regime centers. "The ultimate strategy, which I believe the world should adopt, is to ensure that Iran never acquires a nuclear weapon," he emphasized.

He concluded by urging the global community to concentrate on two key objectives: hastening the removal of Iran's regime while simultaneously hindering its nuclear weapons development.
